Artsy Partsy
You didn't really believe I had given up on my painting, did you?
I have been gifting paintings faster than I have been photographing them, to the luck of my dear readers, but not any more.
I have always wanted to paint a Githopadesham, but this one came closest. I made colossal colour bloopers; yet it hangs on my living room wall, which for the record, is set to a Krishna Motif - there are all kinds of Krish - stealing butter, romancing, and now the driver. BTW, dude photographed this painting, I am not good with gadgets, I have concluded.
I made the following painting sometime back, but could not photograph it well enough (excuses excuses for my lack of skill?). Inflicted this one on an unsuspecting colleague of dude..
This one, is my personal favourite, and goes to a school friend of mine whom I will be meeting tomorrow after 20 years.
And it seems, my mother-in-law is now obsessed with these type of paintings. Everytime I meet her (which is every other day), she has finished five (yes, FIVE) paintings. I suspect my father-in-law will have to build a bigger house just to store all her paintings soon. Proof: Check out all the stuff she has painted within the last SEVEN DAYS.

All this framing and gifting must cost you a fortune!
Doubt: How does one drill a nail into these walls? Hammer makes the nail bend without even denting the wall. After being used to butter-soft walls, the walls here present a challenge.
And yeah, I noticed the dent in the pocket too.
Thank Goodness there isn't a reverse painting store in these parts.
So Purplesque, the bug may spread to your part of the world soon.
But mostly, I'm jealous of your sil. :)
Beautiful,Especially Lord Balakrishna.kurukshetra Sarathy in Chariot is also splendid.
