I don't remember the exact location, but I seem to remember there was also a Chettinad restaurant somewhere in the same area. (Karaikudi?) I lived in Chennai 3 years ago and visited Adyar quite rarely. But I'm sure some of the locals would know.

I have lived in Adyar for six years now and don't know my backyard.
When it comes to food, especially non-alcoholic margharita, I'll figure it out, don't worry.
